Drupal as a Crisis Mapping Platform

What is a Crisis Mapping Platform exactly? How do we take into account the competing facts that every crisis is different and in rapid-onset crises, we need to be able to deploy operational tools immediately? This talk will use highlight work done at Development Seed related to the Afghan elections, coordinating GIS teams in Pakistan, and news monitoring related to H1N1 to show how we are navigating these questions and highlight the capabilities of the Drupal platform in the Crisis Mapping Space.
