Dennis King is a Senior Humanitarian Affairs Analyst at the US Department of State's Humanitarian Information Unit (2002 - present). Prior to this position, Mr. King worked for UNICEF Emergency Operations Center and the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, where he was one of the developers and project managers of the ReliefWeb website. From 1990 - 1996, he worked for USAID’s Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) as an information specialist and head of its Information Support Unit and worked in the Balkans and Africa. Mr. King received his Masters Degree at Columbia University, his Bachelors Degree from the University of Florida, and recently received a Graduate certificate in Knowledge Management from George Washington University. In October 2007, he served as Rapporteur at the UN Global Symposium +5 on Information for Humanitarian Action in Geneva, Switzerland.
