Title: Creating Civilian-Military Partnerships for Crisis Mapping
Description: Under a new program at the Naval Postgraduate School, a community of crisis mappers are experimenting with the integration of unmanned aerial vehicles,…
I build civilian-military partnerships for crisis response. Working with the National Defense University and Naval Postgraduate School, I manage a cross-sector initiative to improve situational awareness for fielded organizations. We integrate social media, unmanned autonomous vehicles, and geographic information systems.
I am executive committee member at Strong Angel Disaster Response Demonstrations, and a recent graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where I was the Robert Seamans Fellow in Science, Technology, and Public Policy. By training, I am classical cellist.
