Lisa Kammerud is currently Research Officer at the Applied Research Center (ARC) at IFES in Washington, DC. Since 2004, Ms. Kammerud has managed implementation of the IFES Election Violence Education and Resolution (EVER) project. Ms. Kammerud has experience in all aspects of the EVER methodology and implementation, including project design, training design and delivery, data analysis and public reporting, and mitigation elements. Ms. Kammerud has coordinated and edited several recent ARC publications on topics such as election technology and election dispute resolution. Ms. Kammerud originally came to IFES in 2001 as an intern with the Communications team, joining full time in 2003 to work jointly for the Europe & Eurasia and the Rule of Law divisions. Before joining IFES, Ms. Kammerud was a Researcher/Editor with Just Associates in Washington DC, and served as an Editorial Director for International Affairs, a journal published by George Washington University (GWU). Ms. Kammerud holds a master’s degree in International Affairs (concentration in Conflict Resolution and International law) from GWU and a BA in International Relations and History from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
