- I am a doctoral student in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My research focuses on communication, conflict, human rights, and social justice in Africa. I am particularly interested in the role media plays in conflict and post-conflict situations and how media technologies are used to track, report and record human rights violations. I am currently doing research in Kenya on the use of mobile technology for human rights/social justice work.
