All speakers selected to give an Ignite Talk at ICCM 2009 should upload their presentations below no later than 5pm EST on Monday, October 12th. This is a firm deadline. Extra spots will be given away after this time.
Nancy Jones is Co-founder of NijeL | Community Impact Through Mapping. She is also a Data Analyst and Planner at the Baltimore Metropolitan Council focused on integrating population, land use, and economic data to better understand and construct a sustainable Baltimore region. Previously she worked as a Research Associate at the Decision Center for a Desert City at Arizona State University. Her work focused on bridging science with professional practice to inform decision making in the areas of water management, climate, land use, and population change in Arizona. She got her start working with GIS in 1997 when she took a class at ASU and has been having fun with maps since then. Nancy holds a B.S. in Biology from Old Dominion University and a Masters in Urban and Environmental Planning from ASU.
