Robert leads mapping projects at Development Seed. His background in geographic information systems (GIS) and international development makes him a great resource when we are tasked with transforming our partners’ data into easy-to-use tools that deliver high value to researchers and policy makers.
In this realm, he has led projects that greatly improved access to basic GIS data in seven African countries by extending the data set in Open Street Map and is currently working on several mapping and open data projects in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
