A pleasure to join the conference called
Harvard Model United Nations 2010 taking place in the last weekend of January 2010.
Delightfully, I was asked to speak during the morning Saturday's session (10am) under the framework for the
Committee on Science and Technology for Development.
The subject of my talk was mostly inspired by the professional events of my life in the last few years:

Computation of Things (copyrights reserved), meant for
Sustainable Development is a response to the evolving concepts, such as Internet of Things or Web of Things, ubiquitous computing, or everyware.
It is based on the groundbreaking computational research that a friend of mine
Prof. Dr. Mosterman initiated and I am happy to cooperate with for quite some time.
More details soon.
The same weekend we submitted a paper on
"Computation of Things for Sustainable Development" for the
Workshop on Grand Challenges in Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis for Homeland Security.
"True to the spirit of the United Nations, founded in 1945, HMUN strives to foster a constructive forum for open dialogue on complex global issues, including international peace and security and economic and social progress. HMUN stresses the in-depth examination and resolution of pressing issues, emphasizing process over product.
Each year, HMUN attracts over 2,500 high-school students from around the world to downtown Boston for four days of exciting debate. HMUN gives students the chance to learn about international relations and to personally experience the challenges diplomats face of representing one's own national interests and advocating in favor of a country's stance while taking into account the perspectives of other member states."
Great people, wonderful to see the
future generations working on global problems.
Keep doing so, guys!
